This last weekend of summer officially kicked off my busy fall portrait season! I photographed 35 families in two days! I absolutely passed out on Sunday. I could barely make it to bed fast enough! It was exhausting physically and mentally. I do not recommend doing this many portrait sessions in one weekend! Thankfully I got lucky and had beautiful weather!

Saturday I had the family portrait sessions at the New Canaan Nature Center but Sunday they were at my home studio in Wilton. I am sure some of them were hesitant to come here but it worked out great! I actually love the light that I get in my yard and I know it so well. I know just where to pose my clients for the best light! We got some beautiful images!  I am editing them this week and then have another 20 clients this coming weekend (and more after that)! Here is one family (from two weeks ago). The light is just perfect! Of course they are a beautiful family so that helps! How cute are these kids!

This is from a 20  minute mini session! We can do a lot in 20 minutes in my yard! We can even get a lot in 15. It all depends on the kids and how cooperative they are feeling at the moment! From a typical mini session I will show anywhere from 10 to 40 images, all depends on how it goes! We all know how that is as parents! This family was super cooperative and ready for their session. I LOVE the shades of blue that mom picked. Look at how dad's shirt combines the colors of both children's shirts. Very impressive wardrobe planning JT! They go so well with the green grass and trees! We had so much fun!
