Pregnancy is so beautiful! This urban momma session is with a client of mine that I photographed less than a year ago for her comp card so she could go on casting calls for hip hop dancers! She actually landed the first job she auditioned for and was so excited! When she told me she was pregant and wanted maternity photos I thought SoNo would be perfect for my hip hop momma! She looked gorgeous! I had so much fun with them and her husband was such a good sport! Not many men would be comfortable doing a photo shoot of their pregnant wife in downtown SoNo during rush hour! It was worth it!

Update: July 16th----And here HE is!!!! I was lucky enough to meet him in the hospital today (I'm so lucky when clients become friends too) and got this cute shot of him looking right at me!! Hey there blue eyes!
What an awesome session!! This has to be one of my favorite types of photo shoots! I had great models, beautiful weather and a cool back drop! Check out these "high school senior portraits"! I don't know about you but these aren't like my senior portraits!!! The urban scene is the latest trend in portrait photography! I love it!

Congratulations Big Brother J! Welcome Baby T!! What cute little guys! They look so much alike! I saw a lot of mom in them (and grandma too) but I didn't get to meet daddy. We were trying to shoot all natural light but it was a dark rainy day. We did it but not with as much light as I would have preferred! Sometimes mother nature does not cooperate! At least we weren't at a park. We had their lovely home as a backdrop instead.

Welcome to my new blog! It's an upgraded version of the old one so I am very excited. I really enjoying posting images from my portrait sessions online and this is the best way to do it! I only wish I had more time to blog about my sessions. Many of them don't even make it to my blog. I haven't had any time in the past few weeks so I am way behind! I will try to get some of the images from my most recent sessions up asap! Thanks for checking it out! Come back soon for more posts!
